Each year, Fayette County Post 105 of The American Legion sponsors a patriotic public speaking competition for students in our local high schools.
The winner of the 2008 Oratorical Contest is Eric Bogert, a junior at Fayette County HS and a member of the FCHS Debate team. Eric received a $100 scholarship for First Place and went on to represent Post 105 at the district level, finishing as District Runner-up.
