Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall Comes To McDonough June 12- June 15

The memories of America's fallen soldiers are never forgotten. The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall, which honors the men and women who gave their all to protect America, comes to McDonough June 12-15. With over 58,000 names inscribed on the wall, the Traveling Wall moves around the country, providing friends and families the opportunity to honor their fallen heroes.

It will be open for viewing during assembly on June 12 and will remain open through June 16 at Heritage Park, Lake Dow Road, Hwy 81 East of McDonough.

Arrival: June 11, 12:30 pm

June 13 - 6 pm- Opening Ceremony
June 14 - 11 am - 6 pm- Tribute to Veterans
June 14 - 11 am -1 pm- Radio Disney
- 10 am- Ride to the Wall Registration
- 1:30 pm- Avalon Park Arrive Heritage Park
June 15 - 3 pm - 5 pm- Music in the Park Sunday
June 15 - 5:30 pm- Bag Piper “Call Back to Barracks”
June 15 - 6 pm- Closing ceremony
